Dr. Souza divides his spare time between family and friends, and of course, his numerous canine and feline friends.

Dr. Daniel Carrig
Dr. Daniel Carrig was born and raised in Buffalo’s very own Old First Ward. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Veterinary Technology, from Medaille College here in Buffalo, NY. He worked many years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician locally before completing his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. Georges University in April of 2015. Dr. Carrig came to us after finishing a yearlong stint at the University of Georgia for clinics. His professional interest includes soft tissue surgery, dentistry, parasitology, and client education. He is looking forward to learning more about orthopedic surgery.
He is really excited to be moving back to his hometown. He enjoys watching just about any sport but his favorite is football and his Buffalo Bills. When he is not at work you can find him playing basketball, going for a run, catching a good movie or even riding his bicycle down to the Marina to enjoy the waterfront.
Dr. Carrig lives in the Old First Ward with his three adopted dogs Kit, Lucky and Chauncy. Kit the newest member is a 10-year-old Chinese crested with heart disease; Lucky is a miniature pincher who has diabetes and Chauncy is a healthy and happy pointer mix.
